Complete Dental Service

What is a Prosthodontist?

Diagnosis is your best investment

A Prosthodontist is a specialist in tooth replacement and the management of occlusion and temporomandibular disorders.

(TMJ/TMD). After becoming a dentist Prosthodontists typically have three to four years of additional university based specialty training.

A maxillofacial prosthodontist also provides reconstructive services for patients with traumatic facial injuries, birth defects such as cleft palates, and patients who have undergone surgery or radiation treatment for cancer.

The dental services we provide at Providence Prosthodontics encompass everything from the smallest fillings to complete oral reconstruction – including dental implants, occlusal treatment and esthetic dentistry procedures.

Malocclusion is related to ear-ache, ear congestion, tinnitus, vertigo and hearing impairment. Occlusal treatment refers to treatment of malocclusion (“bite” problems) which are a primary cause of head, neck and shoulder pain as sell as sore teeth, muscles and jaw joints.

Quality Care you can rely on

It is only after your oral conditions are thoroughly evaluated and your desires and expectations fully understood that we can intelligently plan your treatment.

A complete medical and dental history, clinical examination, diagnostic casts and radiographs are diagnostic services which help us to better understand the nature of your problem.

The diagnostic services indicated for you, plus an expression of your desires will enable us to plan the most appropriate treatment alternative available to meet your individual needs, means and desires.

Working with you, we will adopt a plan that will enable you to maximize the benefits of our services. When indicated, we will develop treatment options and explain to you the benefits and cost of each.
